The licensingagreement will end on 31 December 2012. With this decision the LeifheitGroup is taking a further strategic step towards a greater emphasis on itscore business with the two umbrella brands Leifheit and Soehnle. On 1January 2013 the licensing agreement that has existed between Leifheit andDr. Oetker since 1988 will be transferred to Zenker Backformen GmbH & Co.KG - a company belonging to the Fackelmann Group. The lead time involvedhere and the detailed organisational preparations guarantee that the supplyof Dr. Oetker Bakeware to customers will not be affected in any way.In the future Leifheit will concentrate more on the implementation of itsumbrella brand strategy for the brands Leifheit and Soehnle in theBrand Business division, in which the brands Leifheit, Soehnle and Dr.Oetker Bakeware were previously united. Sales, marketing and developmentwere joined together for the two brands.
