Leifheit AG increases earnings forecast for financial year 2014

Nassau, 24.10.2014 - Leifheit AG adjusts its earnings forecast for the full
financial year 2014. Based on the assumption of an unchanged US Dollar
exchange rate at the end of the year, the Board of Management expects a
significant increase of the EBIT to approx. EUR 18 m to EUR 19 m.

The expected increase in EBIT is due to the foreign currency result, which
is particularly affected by the current US Dollar development with a
positive impact in the amount of EUR 4 m to EUR 5 m. The previous forecast
assumed earnings to remain at the 2013 level (EUR 14.9 m). The forecast for
the turnover for the 2014 financial year remains unchanged: The Company
expects a turnover on the adjusted 2013 level.

Leifheit will publish its results for the first nine months of 2014 on
November 10. According to preliminary estimates Group EBIT will reach EUR
16.2 m, well above the previous year's level (EUR 6.6 m) in particular due
to foreign currency effects. With EUR 161.7 m Group turnover remains stable
at the previous year's level (EUR 162.4 m).
